Our Mission
Build a highly qualified workforce through innovative collaborations with K-12 education and the workforce training and preparation system.

Basic Information
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization supported by tax-deductible contributions. Each program division is steered by a committee of business leaders.

Program Divisions:

New Jersey Business Leadership Network
(NJBLN)



  • Improving employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
  • Founded AccessibleEmployment.org.
  • Disability Mentoring Day (October).
  • Host conference with K-12 special needs teachers.

Opportunity for participation:

          - Join NJBLN.
          - Host disabled students for Disability Mentoring Day.
          - Attend conferences.
          - Contribute to support programs.
          - Post job opportunities on AccessibleEmployment.org.


Disabilities At Work



  • A national consumer advocacy campaign that rewards businesses that support people with disabilities.

Opportunity for participation:

          - Acquire and display a visible symbol of your business' support   for people with disabilities (www.DisabilitiesAtWork.org).
          - Become an advocate by rewarding and patronizing businesses   that display the Disabilities At Work logo at facilities, on   websites and/or on products (www.BackThePlaque.org).


The Business Alliance for Nursing (BA4N)


  • Supporting the Robert Wood Johnson New Jersey Nursing Initiative by adding the business voice to the push for sufficient college faculty to train additional nurses.

Opportunity for participation:

          - Participate in legislative advocacy campaign.

Business Coalition for Educational Excellence
(BCEE)



  • Invests in schools with KnowYourSchools.org, a regional online database of school performance. (coming September 2009)
  • Invests in teachers with MATHNext, state of the art professional development for teachers, in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Education and Rutgers, Newark.
  • Invests in students with LearnDoEarn.org.

Opportunity for participation:

          - Join BCEE.
          - Contribute to support programs.
          - Attend conferences.
          - Participate in advocacy efforts for urban reform project.


LearnDoEarn
National Student Achievement System



  • A national initiative that encourages middle and high school students to make the best possible academic, behavioral, financial, and career decisions with motivational presentation, classroom posted, and other student activities and parent videos.

Opportunity for participation:

          - Contribute to deploy program in local school.
          - Speak to students in local schools.
