The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization supported by tax-deductible contributions. Each program division is steered by a committee of business leaders.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Jersey Nursing Initiative

Business Coalition for Educational Excellence
(BCEE)



  • Invests in schools with Just for the Kids New Jersey, a national online database of school performance.
  • Invests in teachers with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Campaign.
  • Invests in students with LearnDoEarn.org.
  • About to launch effort to rescue failing urban schools.

LearnDoEarn
National Student Credentialing System

  • Powerful suite of web-based programs encouraging middle and high school students to make the best possible academic, behavioral, and career decisions.
  • Uses motivational presentations, classroom posters, virtual corporate field trips, other activities.
  • National focus: teachers registered from 25 states; 190,000 hits per week.
  • Pilot results include 250% increase enrollment in Physics classes, 220% increase enrollment in Economics, 8 – 33% in key math/science courses.
