Kristie LindblomMy daughter Kristie grew up in New Jersey and vacationed on the Jersey Shore, but now lives in Pittsburgh, where she organized a drive to collect food, clothing and medical supplies - as well as more than $1,000 in monetary donations - for delivery to PRAHD (The Puerto Rican Association for Human Development) in Perth Amboy, a low to moderate income community along Raritan Bay which was devastated by the storm.

Kristie and her team with help from Beth Shalom synagogue gathered enough items to fill a cargo van. TriState Capital Bank (Pittsburgh and Lawrenceville, N.J.) donated the cost of the van rental and travel expenses.

On Nov. 19, Kristie and her eight-year-old son Seamus drove the van from Pittsburgh to Perth Amboy – the biggest single delivery PRAHD had ever received.
