Chamber Executive Committee Member Bob Doherty, president, BANK
OF AMERICA NEW JERSEY, presented Mercy Center with a $10,000 grant
towards the center’s after-school program “Youth With a Purpose.” The
program is available in Mercy Center’s Sisters Academy and Hope Academy, both located in Asbury Park.
Pamela Weber-Leaf has joined THE MARCUS GROUP as an account
executive. Weber-Leaf brings more than a dozen years of journalism
experience, as well as a background in environmental law, to the agency’s
public relations division.
Four attorneys from STERNS & WEINROTH were named to New Jersey
Monthly Magazine’s list of New Jersey Super Lawyers for 2009. They are:

Stephen M. Eisdorfer and Craig W. Summers.
Michael V. Kerwin was named president and CEO of the SOMERSET COUNTY BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP, a business advocacy organization. Kerwin was previously president of SSP Architectural Group in Somerville. He replaces Tom Sharpe, who is retiring.
Seven lawyers from SCARINCI HOLENBECK were named to 2009 New Jersey Super Lawyers by Law & Politics. They are Donald Scarinci, Victor E.
Kinon, John M. Scagnelli, Matthew J. Giacobbe, Joel R. Glucksman, Theodore
A. Schwartz and Thomas J. Cafferty.
Tara L. Lotito joined the law firm FAZIO, MANUZZA, ROCHE, TANKEL, LAPILUSA as a manager in its Trust and Estate Department. She was formerly
with the Tax and Benefits Group at McCarter & English.

outstanding leadership and economic improvement within their community.

The NEW YORK SHIPPING ASSOCIATION received the 2009 U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental Quality Award for
Business on behalf of its members, the highest recognition presented to the
public by the EPA.
