Kevin Friedlander is senior vice president of communications and events for the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, a statewide advocacy association representing employers. His team is responsible for media relations, social media, digital publications, marketing, public policy communications, executive advocacy and events.
Kevin previously worked at the Chamber from 1996 to 2010. He returned in December 2022 after spending the previous 13 years at Wells Fargo as vice president of Northeast and Central region communications. There he managed a team responsible for telling the bank's business and philanthropic story in 26 states, regularly collaborating with government affairs and community relations on programs designed to strengthen ties with stakeholders in the communities Wells Fargo serves.
He began his career at Greater Media Newspapers, serving as the special sections editor, and he was a staff writer for the North/South Brunswick Sentinel and Holmdel/Middletown Independent.
Kevin attended Rider University in Lawrenceville, earning a bachelor’s degree in communications, majoring in journalism/public relations. He is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Institute for Organization Management, a management certification program for chamber and association executives.
