Amazon's fulfillment center in Robbinsville is hiring more workers. - (AMAZON.COM)

The massive Amazon fulfillment center in Robbinsville is hiring again.

The online retail giant said in a news release that it is looking for 800 more full-time fulfillment associates at the 1 million-square-foot warehouse and distribution center. These workers pick, pack and ship customer orders, Amazon said.

Since it opened in 2014, the Robbinsville center has brought more than 1,500 full-time jobs to Mercer County, the company added. The facility — located at the Matrix Business Park at 7A off that exit of the New Jersey Turnpike — shipped its first order in July 2014.

The company cited customer demand as the reason for the hiring spree.
