Victoria (Ahde) Licata has joined the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Foundation as director of resource development. She will cultivate partnerships and will oversee funding and development plans for the Foundation.

Licata joins the Foundation having previously worked for the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce from 2018 to 2022 as vice president of member services and events, where she was responsible for fundraising, developing relationships with member companies at the executive level, and managing large-scale corporate events. During her tenure, she also served in other roles within the Chamber’s operations and member services departments.

“If New Jersey is to succeed long-term, we need to ensure New Jersey’s students, adults and employees are provided the tools necessary to flourish in the ever-changing workforce,” said Licata. “I look forward to continuing to engage and build relationships with New Jersey companies and executives for the purpose of growing the foundation to accomplish its important mission.”

Licata holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Labor and Employment Relations from Rutgers University and she was a member of the NCAA Division 1 Rutgers women's soccer team. She currently volunteers at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst as an honorary commander/civic leader. Since 2016, she has volunteered at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, teaching students how participating in athletics builds critical interpersonal and communications skills that will help them in school, the workforce and life.

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Foundation develops New Jersey’s workforce of tomorrow and its flagship program is Jobs for America's Graduates New Jersey (JAG NJ), which assists high-school students who face multiple challenges to graduate and go on to succeed in full-time jobs, the military, or college. In more than four decades of operation, JAG, a nationwide program, has delivered consistent, compelling results – helping more than 1.5 million young people across the country stay in school through graduation, pursue postsecondary education, and secure quality entry-level jobs leading to career advancement opportunities.
