The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors on April 9 elected six new board members. These accomplished leaders, from a variety of industries and regions across the state, will contribute to the Chamber's mission of fostering a dynamic and thriving business environment in New Jersey.
The new board members are:
- Joseph Baumann, Chairman, McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC
- Timothy Corriston, Managing Partner, Connell Foley
- Paul Di Maio, President & CEO, Delta Dental of New Jersey
- Paul Fried, CEO, Member of the Firm, Smolin
- Jon Gooda, Vice President, Newark Hub, United Airlines
- Debra Rizzi, President, Rizco
"New Jersey is navigating a period of both significant opportunity and complex challenges,” said Thomas Bracken, president & CEO of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. “The individuals joining our Board bring distinguished expertise and strategic insight that will further enhance our mission to advance the state’s economic prosperity. They will serve alongside an esteemed group of business leaders already dedicated to this important work."
The board provides guidance to chamber staff on policy issues affecting New Jersey’s short- and long-term economic growth. There is a special emphasis on matters involving Economic Development & Taxation; Education and Workforce Development; Environment and Energy; Government Reform; Health Care; and Transportation.
