It’s back on track. The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Walk to Washington & Congressional Reception is returning Feb. 6 & 7, 2025 with major enhancements. Following a five-year hiatus, the 84th version of the iconic event will feature more networking – and fewer speeches. This unique and unparalleled affair consists of 900 New Jersey leaders traveling to Washington D.C. on a chartered Amtrak train that picks up guests in Newark, Metropark, New Brunswick, Trenton, Philadelphia and Wilmington, Del.

Once in our nation’s capital, the networking shifts from the train to a new destination – the historic and luxurious Omni Shoreham Hotel. The Walk to Washington's traditional sit-down dinner will be replaced by a lively and extended dinner-and-cocktail reception with a streamlined program honoring New Jersey’s Congressional delegation. Guests will enjoy amazing food, drinks and desserts, and get more time for valuable business networking. There’s another bonus: Since 2025 is a gubernatorial election year, we anticipate leading candidates will participate in the two-day event making the 2025 Walk to Washington a must-attend event of the year.
Train Trip & Dinner Reception:
